Located in southern Thailand, the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket is
across the road from the beach, nine miles from downtown, and
approximately 28 miles from Phuket International Airport. The hotel
is along the main beachfront road that extends around the beach and
is close to shops and nightlife. Phuket is about 400 miles southwest
of Bangkok and is roughly 70 percent mountainous. Connected to the
mainland by a bridge, Phuket Island is close to the limestone
scenery of Phang Nga Bay with its caves, limestone towers, and
interior lagoons. Phuket is surrounded by a number of smaller
islands, like Phi Phi Island, which is about 35 miles away. Trips
operate daily from Phuket.
Hotel amenities include the two landscaped pools (with swim-up
bar), kids' pools, Jacuzzis, fitness center, beauty salon, and
Aspara Spa. Four restaurants and a bar are on site for steaks,
seafood, international dishes, Italian, and Thai. There is a
